Golden Quill Winners 2008
The Golden Quill Award is for the Club that produces the best newsletter.
For details about the judging criteria and help what makes a good newsletter please check Golden Quill - Best Newsletter.
We congratulate the winner of this year and the nominated newsletters. And I have to tell you: it has been a tough race, the committee had a hard time reading excellent newsletters and judge them properly - thanks again. The top 4 places have been close just varying one point or two from each other. They are all great inspirations for clubs to create their own newsletters.
And the Golden Quill goes to....
Het Sprekersgilde - Nieuwsbrief
Nominated by Bill Monsour, sent regularly every month by Jan van Egmond.
Congratulations to Het Sprekersgilde!
They are doing a great job - collecting a lot of material for a lively and spectacular newsletter which isas much fascinating for members as it is for guests. Many thanks to the creators - as this kind of work helps to spread the word of Toastmasters in a professional way.
As they say in Netherlands:
Veel leesplezier. (Enjoy Reading)

5. Place: Danube Sparrows - Example fot meeting information
This is an example for meeting information when you want to keep it short and sweet. Sometimes the VP PR cannot afford to put so much time into a newsletters as those above. Nevertheless it is vital you keep your members informed. So think about providing your information in a text mail as this example.
